1 Construction began on the Catedral de Puebla (Puebla Cathedral or its full title of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception) in 1575 and was finally completed then consecrated on April 18, 1649.

4 Mexico's second largest church consists of 14 lateral chapels and the unusual main octagonal altar, designed by Manuel Tolsá and built in 1797. The cathedral's twin bell towers are the tallest in Mexico at 69 metres (226 feet).
